1. All Day – THE ANDY WARHOL EXHIBITION: (Gallery 23) which opened this week,
2. June 21 to July 18, 2025: THE 4TH ANNUAL ART WALK (In the street just outside the El Quijote lounge and Gallery 23). This includes a poetry competition where you are invited to submit a poem inspired by the art in the Artwalk (called Ephrastic Poems – catchy name, eh?)
3. 11 am (SLT) – POET’s PLUNDER POETRY OPEN MIC: inside the El Quijote Lounge.
4. 12 pm to 6 pm – LIVE MUSIC ON THE ROOF AT HOTEL CHELSEA.

Some of the finest artists on the grid are coming together beginning with some of the best VISUAL ARTISTS displaying their work at Chelsea’s 4th Annual Art Walk from June 21st through July 18th. Then on June 28th, starting at 11AM with the Poet’s Plunder Open Mic followed by five hours of live music,

It all starts with Chelsea’s 4th Annual Art Walk and ekphrasis poetry contest from June 21st – July 18th). Then, on a sizzling summer day, June 28th, we add a poetry open mic at 11AM and six hours of live music from noon to 6PM.
In addition to the Art Walk an ekphrastic POETRY CONTEST is happening. Write a poem about any artwork in Chelsea’s 4th Annual Art Walk (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lanestris/128/183/104) and you could win L$1500. Just put your legacy and user avatar names and the name of the art piece your poem is about and deposit it into one of the cylinders on either side of the Art Walk. Entry deadline is july 18th. More than one entry is allowed. Winners to be announced at Sunday Spoken Word and the Blue Angel Poet’s Dive on July 20th, at noon and 4PM respectively.
It’s all happening, all at once, at the Virtual Hotel Chelsea. So grab your best “I’m ready to PARTY like an Artistic Bohemian” outfit and come on over.
