Join the Chelsea as we celebrate Halloween with spoken word chills and live music gore (or maybe it should be ‘galore’).
CREEPY POEMS !
We kick off our celebration with an hour of horror-filled poems in open mic style. Bring your own or your favorite Halloween poem to read yourself or to have read by another poet. No pressure to perform, come to listen and have some fun.
FITFUL STORIES !
Then we add a bit more fright with fitful short stories by Second Life contributors and beyond. Set your environment to midnight and bring a flashlight to point up from under your chin. No treats, just terror!
THREE HOURS of MUSIC !
After you’ve been duly petrified, we’ll switch to music. Three hours worth, featuring FIL ROWANS, LlUIS INDIGO and KAKLICK MARTIN. If you want the three most likely to celebrate, groove and sing a bit about murder and psychopaths, you’ve come to the right place!
Fil Rowans kicks off our live music with his love of progressive and classic rock, folk, …and…wait for it…The Beatles. A drummer and guitarist, Fil may mix both into his set. His repertoire spans from Dylan to Pink Floyd and Floyd is a Halloween necessity!
Next be prepared to groove with Lluis Indigo’s smooth electric guitar (and electric blue hair) as he casts a spell of stellar swagger! He’ll cast out the demons, leaving only chill vibes on this spook filled holiday. You’ll be entranced for sure!
And it wouldn’t be a Halloween bash without Kaklick Martin (we call him Klick for short). He is one of SL’s amazing song writers who captures both SL culture and murder in the first degree. So he’s our pick to close out our Halloween celebration. Come prepared to laugh at the haunting themes of Klick’s set. You’ll be aghast and mesmerized!
Come in costume or come as you are, but come prepared to party!
