Curated by Wild Rabbit, this exhibit focuses on telling the story of her friend’s life through compelling photographs of Patty’s life as an Olympic Volleyball player that started as a teenager.
In Wild Rabbit’s own words:
“Bringing part of her incredible life story to Second Life has been such a joy for me on a personal level because I get to share the story of this amazing human being I knew in real life with everyone in Second Life.
Patty Dowdell was the most amazing person I’d ever met in my life. She was my favorite person to ever walk the face of the Earth.
I was lucky enough to know her for 9 years as my former coworker, my neighbor, and above all else, my friend.”
In this exhibit, you will learn some of what it takes to be an Olympic Volleyball player, as well as the grit to become internationally recognized as one of the forces of her time.
This one of a kind exhibit brings the untold story of Patty Dowdell to Second Life for the very first time.
